Registered Manager – Learning Disabilities

20 Dairy Close, Leek, Staffordshire. ST13 6LT

37.5 hrs – £28,252.02 per annum

We deliver a range of care services for adults with disabilities and other vulnerable client groups our whole ethos is to ensure we deliver what our service users need, placing them at the centre of everything we do.

Dairy Close is an established residential service currently supporting 4 gentlemen all with different personalities and support needs and ensuring each achieve a healthy lifestyle. Working at Dairy Close is a rewarding experience supporting complex needs including Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Mental Health, Epilepsy and Anxiety.

You will operate with significant autonomy in the operation of the home, ensuring that the high standards of both the home and Choices are maintained at all times. Together with fellow Choices managers, you’ll contribute to initiatives and projects aimed at improving service delivery through continuous improvement across the organisation.

In this position, you will enrich the lives of customers through the delivery of high quality person centred care and support that enables independence and achieves valued outcomes. The main purpose of the post is to ensure the effective management of the care hotel by ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and organisational standards.

About You – You Should Possess

·Proven ability to recruit, manage and develop a staffing team

·Excellent working knowledge of regulation and statutory standards

·Proven ability to analyse data and information relating to health and wellbeing of Service Users to implement changes to person centred plans

·Proven ability to gather and analyse data relating to the efficientoperation of a registered care home and to implement efficiencies and improvements

·Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management – minimum 2 years experience of managing a registered care home and staffing team.

The post holder will report to an allocated Performance and Compliance Manager In addition you will be expected to work in a flexible way and in other service settings as required. Together with other management colleagues, participation in the organisations managers’ on-call rota will also be required.
