Working across Staffordshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Shropshire.

£30,014.01 per annum

37.5hours per week (full-time)

Due to the recent demands experienced throughout our organisation we are looking to recruit Peripatetic (Registered) Manager to work throughout our organisation. The post holder will work as directed by our Director of Care to deliver intensive support to our Scheme Managers, take part critical projects and, when required, take up the role of Registered Manager to support a specific scheme. As a critical part of our management team you will work to support the wider management in this fast paced ever changing environment.

On a day to day basis the Peripatetic Registered Manager will:

Work as directed by our Director of Care to support the effective delivery of regulated services throughout the organisation and across all registered schemes/services.

Respond to crises throughout all our services and work co-operatively with other managers and staff teams to facilitate the required outcomes.

When needed undertake the Registered Manager role and lead, monitor, and co-ordinate the activities of the staff team for a specific scheme in ways that will ensure the delivery of high quality, person centred services to service users in accordance with their plans of care and the organisation’s Quality Assurance Framework.

Proactively contribute to the positive outcomes of business-critical projects.

Work with colleagues to ensure that all managers and staff operate in accordance with the appropriate regulatory; statutory and organisational standards and requirements and that the home always presents as being a clean, safe and homely environment.

Participate in the organisation’s managers’ on-call rota.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they possess:

At least 3 years’ experience of working as a Registered Manager in a Learning Disability or Dementia care scheme.

Be a Registered Learning Disability Nurse and/or possess NVQ Level 5, RMA or relevant care/management qualification.

Excellent I.T. skills and proficient in the use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

A proven knowledge and application of the CQC framework and standards, and experience of planning and co-ordinating care and support activities.

An excellent knowledge and proven understanding of good practice in relation to the management and operation of residential based care service.

It is also an advantage to possess the following:

Possess the A1 Assessors Award; mentorship.

Have previously completed and maintained knowledge of; First Aid Training, Fire Awareness, Food Hygiene, Personal Safety, Manual Handling practices.

Working with and supporting people whose behaviour/s challenge services.
